We are beyond excited to announce the upcoming Black Hereford Show at the Missouri State Fair! This event is a fantastic opportunity for Missouri breeders to showcase the best of their cattle, and we couldn't be more proud to support our local agricultural community.

What makes this event even more special is that it’s open to out-of-state exhibitors as well—welcoming top-tier cattle from across the country. This promises to elevate the quality of the show and provide a spectacular experience for all involved.

With last year’s Missouri State Fair drawing over 345,000 attendees, the exposure and enthusiasm around this year’s event are sure to be even greater. We can’t wait to see the stands full, the barns bustling, and the Black Hereford breed shining in the spotlight!

The OPEN Show is for participants from any State and any age!  

FFA & 4H shows are for Missouri Residents only.

If you are from Missouri and you plan on showing in the FFA or 4H show you MUST  re-register for the OPEN Show as well.

FAQ:

 * OPEN Class: Grand Champion Purebred Bull & Grand Champion Percentage Bull compete against each other 

for Overall Black Hereford Bull. 

* OPEN Class: Grand Champion Purebred Female & Grand Champion Percentage Female compete against each other for overall Black Hereford Female. (F1's and HX females can not compete for the final drive according to the Missouri State Fair Rules)

*There will be FFA & 4H Shows for Missouri Residents ONLY that are involved in FFA or 4H. This show will be first, then the Open show on Saturday, August 16th. 

*FFA & 4H  Grand Champion Purebred Bull and Grand Champion Percentage Bull compete against each other for Overall (Junior) Black Hereford Bull. 

* FFA & 4H Grand Champion Purebred Female and Grand Champion Percentage Female compete against each other for overall (Junior) Black Hereford Female. (F1's and HX females can not compete for the final drive) 

*Designated Tie Outs will be available, no tying to trailers. 

* Earliest Arrival Wednesday 8/13 at 8pm.  Must be in place by Thursday 8/14 at 8am. Show Saturday 8/16 at 8am. 

Release Sunday 8/17 at 6pm.
